The lawsuit claims Jackson did not resist arrest but was "severely kicked and beaten" by the officers.Jackson, 51, whose arrest was caught on an amateur video that went viral, is accused of carjacking and robbing a 55-year-old grandmother and her grandsons at gunpoint in the middle of the day on Detroit's west side on Jan. 12 as she cleaned snow off her car. Seorang pegawai Jabatan Hutan Daerah Hulu Perak dijatuhi hukuman denda RM70,000 atau tujuh bulan penjara oleh Mahkamah Sesyen Ipoh selepas mengaku menerima rasuah RM100,000 daripada seorang kontraktor balak, tiga tahun lepas.Hakim Rihaida Rafie turut mengarahkan wang tunai RM768,970 milik Amir Sharifud-din Aliman, 61, yang dirampas dari rumah tertuduh serta wang berjumlah RM3,103,324.71 dalam 12 akaun milik isteri dan empat anaknya (jumlah keseluruhan RM3.872 juta) dilucut serta diserah kepada kerajaan Malaysia.Mahkamah membuat keputusan itu selepas tertuduh menukar pengakuannya kepada bersalah pada prosiding semalam.Sebelum ini, pada 1 Februari 2013, Amir Sharifud-din mengaku tidak bersalah di dua Mahkamah Sesyen atas 12 pertuduhan menerima rasuah berjumlah RM390,000 daripada dua kontraktor balak antara April 2010 dan Januari 2012.Dia turut berdepan dakwaan gagal menyerahkan pernyataan bersumpah bagi menjelaskan mengenai harta berlebihan yang dimilikinya pada 26 September 2013.Terdahulu, Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM), A.Hafiizh Abu Bakar memohon mahkamah menggugurkan 12 lagi pertuduhan yang dihadapi Amir Sharifud-din itu selepas dia menukar pengakuannya.Mengikut pertuduhan, Amir Sharifud-din menerima wang itu dengan tiada balasan daripada Ismail Abdul Manas di depan Kafe Bawang Merah, No 8281, Jalan Suda Bahagia, Gerik pukul 9 malam, 3 Januari 2012.Peguam Saw Hoe Teck pula memohon anak guamnya dikenakan hukuman denda atas alasan Amir Sharifud-din menghidap penyakit jiwa iaitu 'Kecelaruan Afektif Dwikutub' yang disahkan pakar psikiatri Hospital Fatimah Ipoh dan masih menjalani rawatan susulan."Tertuduh dan isterinya juga tidak bekerja. No GST on maintenance fees for all high-rise units, says deputy minister

All of it. Whether it is a condominium, flat, low or low-medium-cost apartment. All will be exempted from GST.""Whether it is luxury or not… medium or low… the maintenance fees will not be charged with GST," he told a press conference after a briefing on the 6% tax in Kuala Lumpur today.He said the decision was made after the government listened to the views of residents and the leaders of high-rise management bodies.The reason for the exemption, he added, was because the government felt that building maintenance would not be a business that would make large profits."It is more a service that is operated by residents' committee, in relation to maintenance, repair, or paying security guards. It is not a business that focuses on big profits," Ahmad Maslan said.He said another factor was because building maintenance was a service that affected a lot of people, and similar to public transport services, it would be exempted from GST on that basis.Last year, property groups and house buyers' associations had claimed that GST would burden residents of low and low-medium cost apartments with higher maintenance cost.Property industry groups had sent a petition in early December last year to the Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, pointing out the problems with the low and low-medium cost stratified apartments.The petition was sent by the Association of Valuers, Property Mangers, Estate Agents and Property Consultants in the Private Sector, Malaysia (PEPS), National House Buyers Association (HBA), Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) and Malaysian Institute of Professional Property Managers (MIPPM).They wanted the government to exempt all categories of stratified properties from GST on management fees. – February 25, 2015.

ชาวเน็ตจำนวนไม่น้อยต่างก็แสดงความรู้สึกสงสัย หลังจากที่ล่าสุด เจสสิก้า (Jessica) ได้ออกมาแชร์ภาพถ่ายของตัวเธอเองขณะนั่งอยู่ในห้องสตูดิโอบันทึกเสียง ซึ่งผู้คนต่างก็สงสัยกันไปว่า หรือแท้ที่จริงแล้ว เธอนั้นกำลังเตรียมตัวสำหรับการกลายมาเป็นนักร้องเดี่ยวอยู่รึเปล่า

คำบอกใบ้ที่ดูจะทำให้เรื่องนี้ดูมีน้ำหนักขึ้นไปอีก มาจากการที่นักร้องญี่ปุ่น อิตาโนะ โทโมมิ ได้พูดเกี่ยวกับความเป็นไปได้ในการเข้ามาญี่ปุ่นของเจสสิก้า (Jessica) ในระหว่างงานแฟนมีตติ้งล่าสุดของเธอ

นอกจากนี้ แฟนๆยังได้ค้นพบว่า เจสสิก้า (Jessica) ยังได้กดติดตามโปรดิวเซอร์ ฮิเดะ คาวาดะ ทางอินสตาแกรมด้วย ซึ่งโปรดิวเซอร์ผู้นี้นั้นในอดีตเคยทำเพลงให้กับ อินาโนะ โทโมมิ และศิลปินในค่าย SM อย่าง TVXQ และ BoA มาแล้ว

ซึ่งถือเป็นเรื่องชัดเจนที่ว่า ทั้งคู่นั้นได้ไปปรากฏตัวที่นิวยอร์คในช่วงเวลาเดียวกัน และน่าจะได้พบปะพูดคุยกันที่นั่นด้วย ในส่วนของเจสสิก้า (Jessica) เองนั้น เธอได้อยู่ที่นิวยอร์คกับน้องสาวของเธอ คริสตัลจอง เมื่อวันที่ 17 กุมภาพันธ์ที่ผ่านมา

Ex-Perak forestry officer charged with graft, fined RM70,000 – Bernama

A former Hulu Perak forestry department officer was fined RM70,000 in default seven months' jail by the Sessions Court in Ipoh today after he pleaded guilty of accepting RM100,000 bribe from a timber contractor three years ago.Judge Rihaida Rafie also ordered the RM768,970 found during a raid on Amir Sharifuddin Aliman's house along with the money totalling about RM3 million in 12 accounts belonging to his wife and their four children to be returned to the government.The judge made the decision after Amir changed his plea to guilty when the case was brought up for mention today.Amir, 61, admitted to have accepted the bribe from Ismail Abdul Manas in front of eatery Kafe Bawang Merah in Gerik on January 3, 2012, in his capacity as a public officer.On February 1, 2013, he claimed trial to 12 counts of accepting bribe of RM390,000 from two timber contractors between April 2010 and January 2012.On September 26, Amir was also charged with failing to hand over a sworn declaration to explain his extraordinary wealth. With his guilty plea, the prosecution withdrew the remaining 13 charges against him.In mitigation, Amir's counsel, Saw Hoe Teck, asked the court to reduce the fine on grounds that his client was suffering from bipolar affective disorder and was still under treatment."My client and his wife are not working. The money in their accounts has been stripped out. Please consider a lower fine," he said. – Bernama, February 25, 2015.

Seorang lelaki dipercayai warga asing cedera parah selepas ditikam dan ditetak oleh beberapa suspek dalam kejadian di hadapan sebuah bank di Chain Ferry di Butterworth hari ini.Ketua Polis Daerah Seberang Perai Utara (SPU) ACP Abdul Rahman Ibrahim berkata mangsa, yang dipercayai berusia awal 20-an, ditemui orang awam yang melalui kawasan berkenaan pada 1 pagi sebelum menghubungi ambulans."Pihak Hospital Seberang Jaya (HSJ) menghubungi polis untuk memaklumkan seorang lelaki yang mengalami kecederaan parah akibat ditetak dan ditikam."Ketika polis sampai di hospital, mangsa telah dibawa ke bilik pembedahan untuk rawatan lanjut kerana keadaannya yang kritikal serta tidak sedarkan diri," katanya ketika dihubungi Bernama hari ini.Beliau berkata berdasarkan maklumat daripada doktor yang merawat mangsa,  lelaki itu cedera akibat ditikam di bahagian perut sehingga ususnya terkeluar.Abdul Rahman berkata pemeriksaan awal juga mendapati terdapat kesan tetak di bahagian belakang badan dan rusuk kiri serta pendarahan dalaman akibat dipukul.Mangsa dipercayai diserang lebih daripada seorang lelaki dan polis sedang mendapatkan rakaman kamera litar tertutup (CCTV) di kawasan mangsa ditemui bagi membantu siasatan kes berkenaan."Polis tidak menemui sebarang dokumen perjalanan diri pada mangsa dan setakat ini kami belum dapat menemui lelaki itu kerana dia masih belum sedar," katanya.Sehubungan itu, polis meminta orang ramai yang mempunyai maklumat berhubung insiden itu supaya menghubungi balai polis berdekatan bagi membantu siasata mengikut Seksyen 326 Kanun Keseksaan.Sementara itu polis menahan seorang lelaki warga Vietnam yang disyaki terbabit dalam kes pembunuhan rakan senegaranya di Perhentian Bas Ulu Tiram di Kota Tinggi hari ini.Suspek ditahan bagi membantu siasatan kes pembunuhan seorang operator pengeluaran lelaki, Do Quang Tuyen, 28 di Kawasan Perindustrian Kampung Lukut, Batu Ampat di sini yang meninggal dunia semasa dirawat di Hospital Kota Tinggi petang semalam akibat cedera parah ditikam.Ketua Polis Daerah Kota Tinggi, Supt Rahmat Othman berkata suspek yang merupakan bekas rakan sekerja mangsa berusia 20 tahun, ditahan kira-kira jam 9.50 pagi tadi di perhentian bas itu."Suspek kini telah dibawa ke IPD Kota Tinggi untuk siasatan lanjut," katany yang dihubungi Bernama hari ini.Menurut beliau, penahanan dibuat susulan soal siasat yang dijalankan terhadap lima rakan serumah mangsa pada pukul 5 dan 6 petang semalam.- Bernama
